Hello UCL Alumni!
It's time to unwind and gather with friends from UCL.
Come to the heart of Peranakan culture and architecture at Joo Chiat Road where a sumptuous spread of Nonya delights await.
The Living Bistro, opened by Tony (one of our alumni), serves Colonial English and Peranakan cuisines. The restaurant sits amongst other Peranakan shophouses of yesteryear that are now transformed into commercial shops as part of a heritage conservation plan for the area. Tony has also kindly offered to take a group of 15 alumni around the neighbourhood for a short walk to expound on this peculiar Singapore heritage.
So join us for a relaxing brunch followed by an afternoon stroll to explore a part of Singapore rich in Straits Chinese history.
